This
is Sandy, my sweet pup. My family and I got her when she was seven
weeks old. She's mixed with all kinds of dogs so she's just a little
mutt. Her dad was a Black Lab, and her mom was mixed with Chow Chow,
Border Collie or Aussie so she's quite an odd mixture. Don't let that
gray face fool you, shes been gray since she was one year old. We are
not sure why, but maybe it's that Lab in her.
Sandy has a very wide vocabulary. She probably knows at least 40 words.
But her favorite thing to do is romp and play soccer in the yard or play
frisbee. But what she is known for the most is her tricks. Sandy knows
how to sit, lay down, shake left or right paw, rollover, play dead
(BANG!), dance, spin, jump over your leg, figure 8 through your legs,
and her most famous trick is to sneeze on command.
Sandy is also a very good watch dog. It takes some time for her to warm
up to you. When you first come over, she will bark and she won't let you
pet her. You just have to ignore her and then after a while she will
soon jump up on you and lick your face!
Well just like anyone else, I love my dog. I am so glad to have gotten
my pup and she will always be my Sandy.
