Murphy
loves life, and has such a funny sense of humour. He loves naps,
loves playing hide and seek, and loves his best buddy "Jack" the
schnoodle. The second photo shows Murphy (with red bandana), and Jack
together at their favorite play area, the local conservation area.
Murphy loves learning new tricks and has recently learned to "hug" on
command. He will sidle up to your side and inch his way into you. It's
adorable, and so gentle.
He is especially good with the young daycare children that come into our
home each day. He will sit quietly and listen to stories with the
children, and allow them to draw chalk outlines around him whilst
outdoors. He also stood very still as my daughter painted his side with
"I am Canadian" (with pet-safe dye). He seemed to understand the fun in
it, and loved the attention he got as a result. Canada Day is July 1st,
and our pal Murphy is ready to rock on!
Murphy has recently been diagnosed with Juvenile kidney disease which
means his life expectancy has been shortened dramatically. We work very
closely with our amazing vet (We are so lucky to have found such a great
one!), and work to make each day a happy one for Murphy. Walking at the
conservation area, swimming, playing with his friend Jack, and being
fussed over and loved as much as possible. That's Murphy's life.
