Morgan
was a rescue dog that we adopted about six years ago. She is
extremely shy and submissive, but is just a wonderful dog. She loves to
point birds in the back yard, and her absolute favorite activity is chasing
a carpenter bee on our back deck. She will put her nose right up to the bee
and look at him for hours.
We love Morgan because she is so sweet and loving. She loves laying in the
sun and following her dad around the house. She does have one bad habit of
having to go outside in the middle of the night. She is a very independent
kind of dog, but is still very shy. When we first got Morgan it was around
Thanksgiving. The leash we got was not working very well, and she managed
to escape on Thanksgiving Day. She is quite a fast dog and would probably
do pretty well in any race. We had the whole neighborhood looking for her,
and chasing her while the turkeys were in the oven. Morgan was climbing up
and down hills with her "dad" following her calling her a Mountain Goat.
After about three to four hours later, we managed to trap her on a
neighbor's back porch. It is now six years later, and we still laugh at
that time.
