My
pet's name is Lilly, she is two years old and is a mixed breed, we
believe she has husky, shepherd, collie, and who knows what else in her.
The reason I would nominate Lilly as dog of the day is because she is
really the whole world for my husband and I. She is the best dog and we
think of her like a daughter instead of a pet. She is very sweet and
friendly and cute might I add!!! People walking down the street
instantly just want to pet her and tell her she's a pretty girl. She is
sweet to everyone, I've never seen her get aggressive at people. And
she is really in tune with my husband and I and lives to make us happy
and keep us safe just as we do her.
One night this winter when we had snow and ice and below freezing
temperatures we lost our electricity. It was very cold and I was upset
about it. I was crying which was silly of me, but regardless, Lilly
came over and insisted on sitting in my lap and snuggling with me and
she kept nuzzling her head with mine and I know that was her way of
helping me feel better. At night when it was cold in the bed when we
went to sleep she laid in the middle of us to keep us warm. She is the
best dog in every way and there's not enough room here - or anywhere in
the whole world - for me to say it! We love her!
