Mali
is my miracle. Diagnosed with Splenic Hemangiosarcoma on
12/24/2004, she has fought her cancer and has beaten her odds. She was a
Christmas present in 1997. When she collapsed due to her spleen
rupturing, I asked our Vet to please help me get her home for Christmas.
She came home on Christmas Eve; the day we found out she had cancer.
We woke up that Christmas morning to find snow ... the first time in
recorded history for New Orleans to see a White Christmas. It was a
miracle...and it gave us hope that Mali could get her miracle too. She
bravely handled her chemotherapy, and today she is in "remission". Our
official report states: WooHoo!
Here's hoping everyone in need gets their miracle too.
