Buddy
came to live with us at six months of age, his previous
owner became ill and could no longer care for him.
He has all the typical retriever traits - loves to retrieve, loves water
and most of all loves everybody. Buddy is an early riser, up by 5 AM -
even on the weekends! His motto is "play till you drop." He just keeps
going and going.
Buddy is fascinated by the frogs in the pond. He loves the water so
much, that he will lay in the pond stream and put his head under the
waterfall - it is like his personal spa. Buddy's favorite spot to
rest is the comfy ottoman - it is like his throne.
Buddy knows his basic commands and knows how to give paw. Buddy
absolutely knows when it's time for his regularly evening treat, a
rawhide chewy, and will go stand by the cabinet until you notice him
there. He doesn't let us forget.
As the vet once said to me - "he certainly has you trained". I would
not have it any other way.
