This
is Ptery, short for Pterodactyl. Ptery came to us from Texas about
two months ago, and since then, he has changed our lives for the better!
He is a sweet and playful boy and so smart too! He has learned lots of
tricks already and is eager to please all the humans around him. We can
hardly walk him anywhere without getting lots of attention, as there are
not many Eskies in Boston, and he is just the cutest fluffball. Luckily,
Ptery is very good with strangers and loves to sniff everyone's toes.
Even though he is a small dog, he plays like a big one, and isn't afraid
of some real tumbling around with other dogs. As a matter of fact, he
loves to play with puppies three times his size, and has made friends with
a Rottweiler puppy, a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, and an Akita puppy. He
is just as ferocious as the dinosaur he is named after. Unfortunately, his
big friends will get even bigger, but Ptery will stay about ten pounds. But as
long as he has the spirit of a big dog, he will continue to have the huge
presence in our lives.
