Hello,
my name is Chance. I got my name because my Mom was my "last
chance" at the shelter. I was once a stray living on the mean streets of
Buffalo, but I've been living with my Mom now for more than thirteen
years. I am the grand old man of the house and although my Mom keeps
bringing other dogs home, they let me have my way because I'm the oldest
and the wisest.
I have several nicknames like Old Man and Bubba, but my hearing is going
(or at least that's what my Mom thinks) so I don't answer to much of
anything anymore. Even though I'm ready for retirement, I still like to
steal Mom's bath towel every day and let her know exactly at 7 pm every
night that it's snack time. That's my favorite time of the day. I really
like to have my butt or my belly scratched and I love to lay in the sun
and soak up the rays. Mom and I have been together for a very long time
and we are the best pals. She loves me very much because she says I'm a
great dog, and I believe her!
