Hi,
I'm Gizmo, a four pound Mi-ki - that's a mix between a papillon,
maltese, and japanese chin. Earlier this summer I survived a fire as
my parents' house burned down while I was trapped inside it. Luckily,
the firefighters found me and after a month I have fully recovered! I
turned one year old on July 28th, and it was good to be alive!
For being such a small dog, I have tons of energy. I love to be outside
more than anything in the world, especially down at the beach playing in
the waves and chasing sea gulls. Playing fetch with my ball is also fun
and sometimes, I get so excited I start hopping like a bunny while waiting
for my mom to throw it. If I'm not playing, you can find me either
following my mom (and dad) around waiting to be fed some yummy treat or
curled up in my bed.
Gizmo is like a little prince because he does not walk/run but prances.
For a treat (or a few), he'll give you a single or double high five and
roll over. He loves anyone and everyone, only after they have properly
introduced themselves to him by petting him and then picking him up.
Otherwise, he will follow you around and bark very loudly. While
he does like to cuddle, he prefers to be outside. Finally, his favorite
toy is yellow ducky he's had since he was a puppy. You can even tell him
to "Go get your ducky!" and he will pick out his duck from wherever it is
lying around the house.
