Here
is Cookie, in this photo, she's six months old. She's a red Border
Collie. She loves to catch a Frisbee. She was born on April 27th 2006 on
a ranch in central Texas. Her mom and dad are both working cattle dogs.
She inherited not only her father's looks, but also his instinct to herd.
We moved a few months ago to a new home with two acres of fenced land so
her and our two other Border Collies would have more room to run and
play. She is the smallest but smartest of the three, at 30 pounds of
flying Border Collie. Cookie's outlet, since we don't have livestock is
the Frisbee. She lives to catch the flying disc in the air, and she
almost never misses. She also loves to swim and to sleep at the end of
our bed. She is very affectionate and is great with verbal commands. She
always puts one toy back into her toy box before getting another one to
play with. Another interesting thing about her is she rarely barks, but
prefers to make little throat noises as her method of speech.
