Marley
has brought so much joy into our home, I honestly can't imagine
my life without her. We got Marley at eight weeks old and she weighed a
whopping twenty pounds. Now she weighs 125 pounds and stands about 39 inches
tall. I tell you this because Marley has absolutely no idea of her
size. For all she knows she is a Chihuahua. She is gentle when playing
with small dogs or cats, but can play just like a big dog when playing
with larger breeds. Marley is so loving and friendly. Everyone is her
friend. We go to the dog park most every day and she knows everybody.
One man told me that no one could ever steal Marley, because everyone
knows who she is. Recently, at the dog park, a smaller dog 1/3 her size
was barking at her and "hurt her feelings". After a couple times of
this, Marley crawled up on the park bench where I was sitting and tried
to get in my lap. What a sight. She keeps the people at the park in
stitches. Even though her size could be intimidating to someone, her
loving personality sets people at ease immediately and she steals their
heart. She really is a gentle giant.
