Hi,
this is Elijah (nickname, Eli), a 100% purebred German Shepherd,
looking very handsome for the camera. He is dominant but very
sweet! He loves his treats and knows "Sit", "Lay Down", "Shake", "Speak"
and "Put Your Head Down" (He lays down and puts his head down in between
his front legs, it's really cute).
He loves chasing the kitties, but means no harm! The cats do not like him,
but Eli always wants to play. He is a very smart boy, and fast. He
does funny little spins when he has extra energy!
Eli is turning two years old in August. We got him from a breeder in West
Virginia. He is very special to us! He weighs 130 pounds already, and
his dad was huge, too. He is not at all fat, and has yet more room to
grow! We love Eli because he is a great dog and a sweet pup that warms
your heart in an instant. He was adopted by us for guarding purposes,
and never fails to figure out who is at the door ... or what is making
the slightest sound in the woods behind the house. He is a very big boy indeed!!
