A
registered therapy dog, Jazzy works in area elementary schools as part
of a literacy program where second graders read out loud to her. Never
happier than when she is herding a soccer ball around a field, she is also
a proficient Frisbee player. Did I mention that she is "The best dog Ever"???
I have had dogs my whole life, everything from little poodles to labs and
a few mutts. Without question Jazzy is the best dog I have owned. Very
affectionate, she is very focused and a real "Shadow". If I get up to go
to another room she is right there. If I grab my keys she is at the door
ready to go with. Ask her where her frisbee is and she will crisscross the
property to find it.
As I mentioned she works daily in the school system and is always a hit.
The kids love to see her in the halls and she is happy to see them. While
at play she is very high energy, when at rest she is satisfied to just sit
next to me and does for hours at a time in my office. We walk together three
times a day and log about five miles per day. She is equally happy both on
and off leash. My children are grown but I would highly recommend the
breed for anyone with small children. She will play till she drops, and
love and protect you to the ends of the earth.
