Tinka
was adopted a day after Mackenzie, my first dog, died. At the SPCA I
was told she had been abused by kids. Since I work with horses and wanted
my dog to be able to come along, we worked hard on her interaction with
kids, and from a frightened, hiding-under-the-table dog, she became the
loved pet of all the kids (though she has a habit of eating their food!).
She's special because she now enables me to foster dogs and find them
homes.
Tinka is called after the great stallion Tinka's Boy, and she loves
jumping too. She also loves everything that involves food, water and energy.
She and Kroovi (her "brother" at the same age but came along almost a year
after her adoption...) love to run around, being soooo cute.
