This
is our wonderful Gideon. He is an angel in disguise. He is absolutely
the sweetest and most loving canine!!! He has a little tuft of hair in the
middle of his fluffy back that sticks up like a pair of miniature wings.
Gideon loves all creatures, and gets along with everybody.
Some of his nicknames are Gidgy, fluffanuff, marshmallow puff, Zee, all
silly names, but he answers to each. In the mornings I will tell Gid to go
wake my husband. I'll say "Coffee time, and Gideon will Roo-Roo-Roo and
kiss my husband until he has to get up to stop the antics.
We got Gideon from the local animal shelter when he was eight weeks old, and
have loved him from the first minute he was placed in our arms. He has
canine siblings, all rescues, who are the best dogs, and we highly
recommend rescue and adoption if you are looking to add a furry companion
to your family. They are so grateful for getting a forever home where they
are loved and secure.
Being Gideon's mom, I have to say he is a mama's boy. He is my velcro dog.
Wherever I go, he goes, and never wants to leave my side. He is my
favorite. (shhh! don't tell the others! They are all special in
their own way!!) Even if I do have to be apart from Gid at times, part of
him is still with me always. One can never remove all of the long
white hairs off of the clothing being worn out of the house!! :-)
Here is a picture of Gideon enjoying the beautiful cool days of Fall in NC.
He loves this time of year as the temperatures start to drop and he will
stay out on our deck quite a bit. And of course he loves snow. Including a
picture of his puppy days, so that all can see how irresistible he was!
Please adopt a homeless dog. It is a great deed to do on this earth!!
