My
name is Rusty, I'm six months old, and I'm a pure breed Australian
Shepherd. I live in ohio with my mother and my human mom and four other
dog's, all female's and all aussie's.
Mom calls us all "the gang." Their names are Tag, she's the boss, then
comes Sassy, Angie, and Star, she's my mom. My dad was a beautiful long
coated red merle Aussie and mom's a small black tri. My mom's gonna get
"spayed" whatever that means, probably the opposite of what neutering
means. I'm one of eight puppies that Star had and all my brothers and
sisters have wonderful homes too. My mom keeps in touch with each one.
I love to play with my dog buddies, and oh yea, I have ten other buddies,
four horses and four barn cats, and two house cats.
We all keep our human mom very busy. She gets a bit mad at me because
I've started this habit of bringing into the house stones that I chew on
and mom's not too pleased when I do it. Mom always has bones (from the
butcher shop), for me to chew but ... Oh well I guess I'm just being a
boy! I love to ride in mom's Trailblazer and in the back of mom's John
Deere gator and go to check fences or whatever need to be done.
We live on 20 acres of land and mom's always making sure that the horses
haven't busted any of the fences or if a tree or tree limb has come down
onto it. We all go, me and the "gang," It's a lot of fun riding in the
gator, I think I like it even more than in the back of the Trailblazer
because I can see all around what's goin' on and someday I hope to see a
deer in the back pasture. Not sure what that is but I bet it's nice. Mom
does Aussie rescue/fostering but since I've been here she hasn't done
any because she says that she needed time to train me to be a good boy
in the house. Now she say's I'm a very good boy so I guess she'll be
fostering some dogs soon. I can't wait because I'd love to meet other
Aussies. I know that mom still does transporting because sometimes the
back of the Trailblazer smells like dogs that aren't part of my "gang."
I'm a very happy dog to be living here with everybody.
