My
dog's name is Emma-Monroe. Yes, an extravagant name for an amazing
dog. She is a year and six months to the date. She is Pit bull and part
shepherd though no one ever sees the shepherd in her. She lives in a
northwestern suburb of Chicago, Illinois. I received Em when she was nine
months old. A friend at work adopted a dog from a shelter and said he had
too many dogs at home and needed to give one away. She was the most
intelligent, well-behaved dog I ever met.
Still today she is the most loving, silly puppy I have ever had. She is
so obedient and yet such a baby - just see the look she's giving me for
disturbing her nap. She loves stuffed animals, she almost completely
devours them and hides their remains just so she can go back later and
lick and sleep on them, she acts as if she loves those toys no matter
how much she tore them up earlier. She is the most loyal guard dog, she
protects me until I give her signal to stop. She is the biggest cuddler,
and loves attention, Emma-Monroe is the best dog ever!
