We
adopted Jack when he was five months old. He was very shy at first and
wanted to play with us but was too scared to play when we were facing him.
But as soon as we would turn around he would nip at our heels - that's
the Aussie in him, they are herders - and get really excited. He is now
the opposite of shy and wants to play with anyone willing. He was a very
destructive puppy, choosing to destroy his daddy's very expensive
electronic equipment. But with a face like that you can't stay mad at him
very long. Jack has the most energy I have ever seen in a dog. When he
goes out to play he runs in circles for hours and never wants to come
inside. He is pretty insane in the snow but it's fun to watch.
Jack loves our cats, even though the cats aren't his biggest fans. We are
pretty sure he was a cat in another life. He chases string, pounces on
his toys, and enjoys going after your feet under the covers. He's a very
intelligent dog but a little stubborn, he learned all of his tricks in
about a month but will refuse to listen to any of the commands when he's
outside playing. He is the best thing that could have happened to our
little family and makes every day brighter.
