This
my dog Sadie, or Sadie Bug as I call her. I got her from my
parents' next-door neighbor. She was such a happy, always smiling,
fluffy puppy. I just had to take her home. She has fit in perfectly with
our two other dogs, Annie and Tootsie Roll, and two cats, Mouse and
Scrappy.
Sadie loves people. She never meets a stranger. She don't care who you
are as long as you are willing to pet her, which most people can't
resist because of her big smile. She also loves kids and because of this
Sadie gets to come to work with me a couple of times a week and let kids
read to her as part of our Paws for Reading program (I work at the
Library), which helps children improve their reading skills.
Sadie also loves to go to the lake. She loves to play in the water. She
would play in the water all day everyday if we would let her. She also
loves to go in the hills. We take her, Annie, and Tootsie Roll for the
day and let them run around the mountains. They love it.
Sadie is a joy of a dog and I wouldn't trade her for the world, even if
she does have a slight problem of staying in the yard.
