Katy
was an anniversary present from my wife. We got her from our local
animal shelter. We hoped that she would give our eight-year-old Pit Bull
/Jack Russell mix some exercise. And boy did she! We had had her about a
month when the owner of the mobile home park that we owned a home in said
that she would be too large and we would have to get rid of her.
That was not gonna happen! We put her in a kennel while we searched for
another home. Luckily we found one in two weeks. Katy and I moved in right
away, the wife and Beavis (the jack/pit mix) came a month later. Katy has
been a true pleasure! She's smart, very very protective, funny and very
lovable. She is worth every penny we spent to relocate. To every one
reading this: Do yourself a favor and adopt an animal from your local
shelter. They make the greatest pets and friends!
