This
is a picture of our golden retriever Scrambler. He is a special
family dog and loves ice cream. That is an ice cream styrofoam bowl of the
ice cream he just had. Scrambler is eleven years old and was ten years old
when that picture was taken.
Our daughter named him because she thought as a pup he scrambled
everywhere he went, bounding around the yard, in the park, etc. Scrambler
is a very independent dog and will only do what he really wants to do. He
is very attached to his "dad" (my husband) and goes hunting with him every
year. He is very sweet and kind and loves to go for rides in the car and
get a McDonald's hamburger. He gets real excited when we talk into the
speaker at the fast food restaurants because he knows he will get a treat.
He loves to visit the dog park and smell all the smells because he's very
curious. Once he was too curious because he followed a skunk and
unfortunately got sprayed in the face. It was a while before he smelled
normal again. We love him anyway!
