Hi!
My name is Sugar, and I am a ten-year-old female. I look pretty
good for my age, huh? I am a Shetland Sheepdog and I live in Tennessee now.
Just last summer, I was adopted by a family that got me from
a Shetland Sheepdog Rescue in Eastern Kentucky. They wanted me so badly
that they traveled a total of ten hours to get me. They thought my
story of how I was given up by my original family was very sad because
they already had one Sheltie and they knew how sad she would be if they
gave her up after ten years.
But on to happier topics. I love my new home. These people are always
finding new things to do with me, and I keep them entertained by barking
at aluminum foil, the ironing board, the dryer, and letting them know
when the phone rings. I am a little shy at my new home, but I'm getting
over it pretty quickly, because life is good! They think I am very
special and they are tickled to death to give me my new forever home.
They love me so much they even let me have my own web site!

My new people think that rescuing an older dog is a smart move because
