Dude
is a six-year-old retired racing greyhound. He was retired at the
age of four and has been enjoying his retirement here in Seattle,
Washington. During his racing career, he won 27 out of 121 races in
Phoenix and Tucson.
Dude now spend his days playing and sleeping. He is a large greyhound,
he raced at 88 pounds. He loves to play. Whenever anyone comes over,
he is sure that they came just to play with him. At six years old, he is
still just a big puppy.
Greyhounds make excellent pets. They are very laid back, very
affectionate and very devoted. He goes everywhere I go and loves to go
for rides, even if it's just around the block. Dude is my fourth
greyhound in the past eleven years. I will always have a greyhound in my
life. Besides having a warm and funny best friend, it is a great
feeling to know that I also saved a life by adopting him.
