We
bought Lusia on a street market nine years ago. It cost about $25 and
she was the cutest dog in her family. All of that took place during some
vacation so the puppy wasn't left alone for at least two weeks. However,
the very first day Lusia stayed at home on her own, she climbed the
stairs and couldn't get down. I must confess that she got hit in the eye
with a slipper when I was playing with her once. Fortunately, there were
no negative consequences. When Lusia was about one year old she gave
birth to her two puppies. She was a good mother.
She's always been a really cheerful dog. Lusia does bark at people but
when they get closer she's totally friendly. It was only once that she
got hold of the letterman ;)! There's a curious thing about her, when
she's alone at home and somebody is entering the house with a key she
never barks but when at least one member of the family is already at
home she does bark! Obviously, she welcomes everyone dearly, even
licking out my mum's lipstick when she's not careful enough :)
She likes bacon and sweets most of all but Lusia has to be on a diet due
to its kidney problems. So she eats soup with rice and soft pieces of
chicken or turkey. She also has some dry food next to her bed, she
always asks for it (touching the bag with the paw), and never takes any
herself.
In the winter, when it is very cold outside, close to 0 degrees
(Celcius) and snowy and windy, Lusia would rather stay at home. It stays
this cold until March. Then when it is warm, she likes to walk outside again.
