Macie
is our energy-charged Golden Retriever who keeps our 10 1/2
-year-old Golden, Allie, and our two cats, (Shakespeare and a yet unnamed
kitten of ten weeks), busy with her numerous attempts to play and rough
and tumble daily with them. She is an extremely affectionate bundle of joy
who loves her long walks with her senior Allie, being cuddled and having
her belly scratched, her first year of learning to swim at the cottage,
eating sticks and pine cones, (despite our attempts to keep them away from
her!), her "kong," and her numerous daily treats. Full of energy, and some
days, mischief, she goes full tilt and then just flops on the floor for a
well-deserved rest.
She really enjoys her daily in house plays with Allie, which keeps Allie
feeling like a puppy again. Both get a good workout until we have to step
in to end the session once the two become too noisy.
With an extremely active pet household that keep us very busy, we cannot
imagine a minute of the day without Macie and her buddies being a part of it.
