Ms.
Charlotte came to us as a Rescue Pup from Bowling Green, Kentucky on
December 21, 2008. She was abandoned at a Collie Rescue Shelter there in
Bowling Green. (We have been told she is a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen
{PBGV} - or a possible mix of, vet said there is no way to be sure without
a DNA test and that is way too expensive and who cares anyway!)
While I was perusing PetFinder.com
(I had been looking for a pet companion for about two months, looking for
just the right one), I came across Ms. Charlotte's picture. Her foster
family had named her Missy, for no one really knew anything about her.
When I emailed and asked if Missy (as she was then known) had been adopted
yet, she told me she had not, but was ready to go to her forever home.
I could not have been more thrilled. Just look at her! She is the sweetest
pup (the vet says she is around two to four years old) anyone could ever
ask for. She is loving, sweet, kind, perfectly behaved, no one - just
no-one could ask for a better girl.
Yet, the vet said she had seen hard times, her front teeth have been
broken and her jaw looks like (this is from the vet, I can't tell) it had
been kicked. But, now she is here in her forever home! And my husband and
I are very glad to have her!
Favorite Food: HAM - then meal bones.
Favorite activity: Running in the Snow! She loves the snow and her doggie
door (she has been seen just walking in and out (over and over again)
though that doggie door!
Favorite Place to sleep: Our bed - then her little bed when we are
watching TV downstairs.
