I
would like to share with you my beautiful pet. My son rescued him from the
animal shelter three years ago. He was very shy and afraid of noises when we first
got him - if you sneezed he would run out of the room afraid! We gave him a
lot of love and reassurance and he is much better now.
He is a beautiful animal with his big ears and big brown eyes! He loves to
sit close to you and wants to play with you all day. His favorite activity
is hanging around our backyard, guarding all the bunnies and birds. He will
spend all day outside. It is like he is going to work! One day I will pack
him a little lunch pail filled with doggie cookies inside.
He is very sweet and dear to us and we are glad we could rescue him from the
pound and give him a good home.
Raptor - or Rappy - as we affectionately call him, has come a long way since
joining our family. He no longer is afraid of the bubbles in a glass of Coke
and you can sneeze and he won't run away! He loves to have his ears rubbed
and especially loves it when you tell him how much you love him! But best of
all, if he 'escapes' under the fence in the backyard while hunting a smell he
always comes running home in a few minutes. I guess he loves us now as much
as we love him.
