Here
is Trish. She is a rescue dog from a puppy mill. She turned five
years old on July 7, 2008 and is a Dapple Dachshund. Since bringing her
home we have had her at the vet to have six teeth pulled because they were
infected and she was very fragile and sick from the infection. She has
recovered and is very playful with our other Dachshund Heidi.
Trish is very affectionate, loves to give kisses and is always trying to
get a lot of attention. You can tell she really loves having a home, she
has bonded with Heidi (our other dachshund) and follows her every where
she goes. She likes to run and jump in the yard and play chase with Heidi,
and she has adapted to being a house dog really well. She was borne with
one brown eye and one blue eye and no tail. But she is so cute and frisky
that you don't even notice that. She is sort of independent and holds her
own with Heidi, she is a real joy to us and you can tell she loves us and
her new forever home.
