This
is a picture of my dog Aoife (pronounced ee-feh). She is a rescue dog
and approximately six years old. She is an American Pit Bull Terrier
female. Aoife is obedience trained, has earned her AKC CGC (that's a
Canine Good Citizen award), and she loves agility. We live in the
Church Hill area of Richmond, VA.
Aoife had a very rough life before she came to live with me and my family,
initially as a foster. She'd had several litters of puppies and had not
been properly cared for by her previous owners. We adopted her last year
and now she is spayed, healthy, and very active. Like I said, she
loves agility - which is a good way to focus her abundant energy as
well. She's a big goof and a smart girl. She shares our home with our
Beagle, Maddie, and our Jack Russell terrier, Malarky.
