Hello!!!
This loving American Pit Bull Terrier is a "Diamond in the Ruff, Ruff!"
Diamond is a four years old female living in Tucson, Arizona by way of Orlando,
Florida. We got her from Sun State Heavy Weight Kennels in Jacksonville.
Diamond is why we look forward to coming home each day, waking up in the
morning and going to the park for walks! We love to hear her whine in
excitement as she anticipates us coming through the front door. It's the
best feeling to be greeted by her wagging tail, (actually, its her entire
body) and the loving licks on the cheek when we open the door and bend over to
kiss the top of her head. She seems to always know when a kiss, or lick for
that matter, is needed.
We got her on Valentine's Day to be company and younger
big sister to our other dog, a Shiba Inu named Redman. Redman got out of the
house once and was hit by a car and Diamond was there to lick our tears and has
been there for us to, literally, lean when she senses our unhappiness. Diamond
refuses to have anything other than peace and happiness in her house. If mom
and I get into an argument, she stands between us and barks until our voices
calm. Sometimes, we yell at each other just because we find her reaction so
cute. When we lean over to lock lips, she'll always pop up to kiss too. And
she just loves to lay between mom and dad to keep warm or just to be the
center of attention.
Diamond is the personification, excuse me, "perdogification" of unconditional
love. We love the picture of her smiling. The other is Diamond with her
favorite toy. She offers it to everyone who walks into our home. She can never
replace our Shiba Inu, Redman, but she certainly works overtime to give us all
the love we were certain to get from the two of them together. We certainly
hope her loving heart shines through in these pictures!
