Penny
is a very sweet dog, and although she is twelve years old she still thinks
she is a puppy! Penny is the best behaved dog we have ever had. She knows
about a dozen tricks from the standard sit and roll over to speak and how to
open presents by tearing the wrapping paper with her teeth and spitting it
out. She also knows only to open her gifts.
She is a "people dog" and thinks everyone who comes to our house is there to
see her. She even converts non-dog lovers to her side. The way she makes that
happen is she will just sit or lay by them (sometimes on their feet), quietly
until she wins them over (by the way it has worked every time). Having said
that, she is also very vocal and lets us know with different types of noises
just what she wants. She has convinced many people that having a dog would be
fun. We believe in the saying that a well-behaved dog and well behaved kids no
one minds around. As you can guess no one minds having Penny around! We are
blessed to have her.
