Baxter
came to us in June of 2007 when he was only two months old. He was
rescued from down South and was only a day away from being euthanized. When
we adopted him, he was like any other puppy-full of energy!! His two older
brothers (a Black Lab mix and Springer Spaniel mix) didn't know what to think
of their new little brother. After a couple of months of adjustment time,
they all get along just fine!! In fact our Black Lab has even lost a little
weight because Baxter chases him everywhere!
Baxter's favorite thing is to be outside! Anytime the door opens, he is gone!
It's a good thing we have a fenced in yard. One day we found him in a tree
because he decided to chase a squirrel!! When he isn't outside he is in the
house running around or playing with his brothers. He loves chasing tennis
balls or playing with his stuffed animals.
