Hello!
My name is Murphy and I am a Fox Red Labrador Retriever originally from San
Antonio, Texas. I am 3 1/2 years old, weigh 90 pounds and I now live in Mountain
View, California with my human parents, two human brothers and two Labrador
buddies.
I am special because I love the holidays and tried to help "Santa Paws" put up
the lights and got a little tangled up!!
Murphy is the most mellow / relaxed dog I have every met - especially for a
Labrador Retriever from a hunting line. I have always had Labs, but had never
seen or even heard of a Fox Red Labrador. I met the breeder, exchanged
newborn pictures and knew I had to have him.
As a 90-pound Fox Red Labrador we really should have named him "Clifford" the
big red dog! He will pose for pictures all day long for just a few cookies.
His favorite thing to do is curl up on the leather couch with a human and rest
his head on their lap. He is obedience trained and has his Canine Good Citizen
Certificate. He is very friendly and loves people, especially his human
brothers!! His favorite foods are broccoli, asparagus and peanut butter.
