Hi!
My name is Kiba (Ky-ba) and I'm a beautiful white husky! This picture
of me were taken just under a year ago when I was adopted from the humane
society. As you can tell, then I had a nasty hot spot on my neck but it
was treated and healed very quickly. I came in as a stray to the
Greenville Humane Society and I was way underweight and not fixed yet but
the shelter took care of getting me fixed and now I'm a very healthy
weight. In summer it's so hot down here my mommy bought me a pair of
shears and trimmed my fur down nice and short so I wouldn't be miserable
(though I looked more like a hyena than a husky!). I also have a swimming
pool that I love to wade into even in the winter! Since I was neutered so
late I don't get along to well with other male dogs but my best friend is
a female doberman named Dagmar.
Our mommy takes us to the dog park and Dagmar gets to run around and play
with the other dogs but I still have to stay on the leash because I don't
like it when another dog tries to act better than me. I'm very friendly to
people and have never bitten anyone. I love to fetch (especially
snowballs!) and wrestle with Dagmar and I love going walking or jogging
with my mom more than anything. I used to attack cats but my mom worked
with me and now I get along with one of her cats who always stays in the
backyard with us (and drinks out of my pool too). I think you should go
check out your local shelter and see if they have any handsome dogs like
me that need good homes because I love my home and am very glad my mommy
came and got me!
