Ah,
I know that all the dogs of the day are supposed to be marvelous,
wonderful, superb canines - but not me! I am a monster - I look like
I'm a little angel, but really don't you think angels are overrated?
I love to chew - love it! I know I'm not supposed to chew so I do my
best to sneak away with my prizes (like my mom's shoes) before anyone
can see me. The doggie door is a great escape. When I'm chewing the
couch or other tasty furniture, it's when no one is looking. I am a
very clever canine!
Sometimes I am banished to the backyard - but that doesn't stop me.
There are lots of things to keep me busy! Like the drip system, plants
- and the holes I dig - I tell you, even the gophers are amazed.
In my defense, I just turned one year old. My mom wasn't planning on a
puppy; but I'm so cute how could she resist? I suppose when I'm older
and wiser I will stop all this nonsense. I know I should be more
grateful since it's not like I don't get any fun or exercise. I go to
the park every morning. I get to play with other dogs, chase rabbits
and have loads of fun. At night my mom throws the toys and plays catch
with me forever and I have an older brother to pal around with. Lately
she's been taking me rollerblading.
But I am who I am... an adorable, sweet, cutie pie, monster!
