Roxy
is our one and a half year old Toy Poodle. Most of the time she is so
full of energy, it's like watching a hyper three-year-old run around the
house, just looking for something to get into. The other day, though, I
didn't feel well and wanted to just lie on the couch. Roxy seemed to sense
that, and was my couch buddy the entire day, she only got up to go outside
to potty. She has lots of confidence for the most part, by trying to let
bigger dogs in the neighborhood know that they better not come into 'her'
yard. She's not a bully though, once they see past that big bark and
venture over anyway, she lets them know she was only kidding. It's now
playtime with the "catch me if you can, but don't run from me or I'll
chase you" attitude!
We recommend Toy Poodles to people due to the fact that they don't shed,
are very playful and smart. Our daughter has taught Roxy to sit, lie down,
roll over, 'speak', give a 'high five', dance, and turn around. Roxy has
been a great addition to our family.
