Hi!!
My name is Redford. I am a German Shepherd. I was adopted from the
German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County in December of 2008. I was a stray
puppy roaming the streets of Devore and brought to a shelter in San
Bernardino County, CA. It was very scary out there by myself. I must have
gotten into a scuffle with something because I have a scar on my forehead.
I was underweight and itchy but since I got adopted by this nice lady and
her two cats, I now live in a home and get all sorts of attention!! When I
first came to the rescue there was this neat Christmas parade that I got
to walk in. That was so much fun!! That is where my Mom fell in love with me.
I drive to work with my Mom and spend the day with the man who fostered me
when I got to the rescue and his four dogs. I have a ball when my Foster
Father fosters puppies for the rescue. We play and play until we all drop!
Plus on weekends, my Mom and I attend training classes where I get to see
all my friends. Class is fun but they make you do all sorts of things that
will be 'good for me' and will help me to be what is called a 'canine good
citizen.' Mom takes me on a walk every night so I can get my exercise
because she knows I am a growing boy!
I think I am going to have a great life - I wake up with a smile on my
face and love to play with my squeakie toys while Mom is getting ready for
work. Sometimes I make such a racket! That puts a smile on my Mom's face
and I like to see her smile!
