My
dogs name is Keeno L. Carlin, he just turned one on Jan. 24th 2009. He is a
purebred Siberian Husky. My pet is special in so many ways. He brings warmth
and laughter to our family. He is very intelligent and mischievous. He
definitely keeps us on our toes.
I have a little story to tell that may be of some help to others. I was doing
a project at my home, and I had everything laid out in the kitchen. I had
broken one of the plastic pieces, so I found some super glue to fix it. As I
was going on with other things before I glued my mistake, my son who is nine and
Keeno were playing in the other room. I had to go down in the basement for
something and just as I got down there, my son started to yell to me. I asked
him what was the matter he said Keeno had got a hold of the tube of super
glue. Talk about being scared!! I ran up the stairs so fast and got a wet wash
cloth and started to wipe out Keeno's mouth. He was having a hard time trying
not to get his mouth stuck together. It was all over his tongue and the roof
of his mouth all over his teeth, on his lips. It was the most tense moment I
have had in a long time. I finally got most of it out of his mouth. I called
poison control and they told me it was not poisonous or toxic (Thank God). He
after a bit started to drink and eat and play. Now his nickname is super
keeno! Keep in mind "If you don't leave it out for you kids, don't leave it
out for dogs." And Keeno says "Woof!"
