This
is my baby girl, Lucy Belle. She is a three year old poochie (that's
what we call her, as she is a poodle/chihuahua mix). She is absolutely the
best dog in the world. She is smart, funny, loving and sweet. Her favorite
thing is to go run and jump in the field across from our home with her best
friend Casey, a miniature Dachshund. She loves to cuddle and is a true lap
dog. She loves people and other dogs. I feel truly blessed to have her in my
life. I call her Sunshine because she brightens my day.
Lucy Belle is very affectionate. If she's not in my lap, she is beside me.
She likes to give kisses, but only to people who like to receive them. She is
very funny. I believe she has a sense of humor. She makes me laugh out loud
every day.
Lucy Belle knows at least fifteen tricks. It is very easy to teach her a new
trick. She learns very quickly. She is so smart. I took her to obedience
classes when she was four months old. I recommend this for anyone with a new
puppy. It taught her a lot, plus it was a great bonding experience for the two
of us.
She has a toy basket full of toys, but each time she gets a new toy, she acts
like it's the first toy she's ever gotten. It's worth every penny to see the
happiness a new toy brings to her.
Lucy Belle's best friend is Casey. Casey comes over every day. They play
together, eat from the same bowl, and cuddle up and nap together. Lucy even
shares her toys with Casey, sometimes reluctantly.
Lucy Belle has a boyfriend named Buckley, too. He's a poodle. He comes to
the back door nearly every morning to see Lucy. It's so cute.
