Just
Jake is named after his father who is Just Right, he is a Viszla. We call
him Jake. He is the sweetest lovable dog, he does not have a mean bone in
his body! He is a phenomenal hunter, and just came to it naturally, he started
hunting at five months. He loves to retrieve tennis balls and could do it all
day if you could keep throwing that long. He is very needy and has to play
for at least one hour every day.
Jake's full name is "BK's Just Jake" and at two years old he has energy to
spare. Indoor's, he's an underwear and shoe thief who will return the stolen
items when commanded to do so, but not until he has had one lap around the
house showing of his spoils! Outdoors, Jake loves to run and will retrieve
just about anything thrown to him. Viszlas by nature are very affectionate
and Jake is no exception. Whatever room in the house we are in, or wherever
we are in the yard, he must be there too. Rides in the car are at the top of
his list, head out of the window, ears flying back, he is one happy dog. Jake
is at his absolute happiest when doing what his breed was meant to do - bird
hunting. From his first point at eleven weeks old until today, just take his
orange hunting collar and bell out of the closet and he just about comes apart
at the seams! After a day of hunting, it's back home to his supper and pillow
by the wood stove; a very tired, very happy dog.
