After losing my beloved Brandy in October, I vowed never to get another dog. Brandy had lived to be seventeen! I decided in March that something was definitely missing, so I started looking on line for another dog. I found Kramer through Good Dog Rescue, who had rescued him from the local pound. Our first meeting didn't go very well because he had been kept in a kennel for about a month and was just ready to run. I agreed to foster him for two days before an adoption event that was scheduled for the weekend. When I brought him home, he ran top speed for about fifteen minutes around my back yard... then he came inside and ran around until he had claimed all the furniture. He slept on my bed that night at my feet, all night long, never once getting up. After that night, we decided he had found his forever home with us. He has calmed down considerably, and has really turned into quite a snuggle bunny. We walk twice a day so he can become familiar with the neighborhood, and he is getting better and better on the leash. He's so special because he has brought so much joy to our home again. He is always doing something to make us laugh. He's a handful and he's my wild child, but I'm so glad I found him.

Please - check out the rescue sites on the web. These babies need homes and love. All Kramer needed was some love to calm him down, and he gives back so much more!
