Hi,
my name is Noah Alexander, usually called Alex, a.k.a. Zander or Mr.
Pee Body. I don't much like that last nickname but I guess I have
earned it because of what my Mom calls a very nasty habit. Can I help
it if nature makes me want to mark all my possessions? I especially
need to (I think) when my friend Katie comes over and tries to act like
the dominant dog! She knows I am bigger and stronger, plus I am a male,
so why does she have to act so big an all? Mom says if anyone has
suggestions... please leave them under pet talk!
When Mom came to adopt me I was six months old, in a big muddy pen and all
by myself. Mom doesn't know this for sure, but she thinks I had been in
this situation for a while because I sure was happy to meet Mom and her
sister. A couple of days after being adopted my shyness came out. Suddenly
I didn't want to meet new people and I was afraid of everything - even my
own shadow! Mom took me to kindergarten, advanced training, and even to
doggie daycare until I was eighteen months old. The trainer said at about
eighteen months I was about as social as I was going to be. I still am not very
social - but I sure do love my Mom and her sister plus my five cats
siblings, my dog sister, and my two part-time dog sisters (yes - one of
them is Katie). The only problem I have is that my dog sister is fifteen
years old and does not like to play as much as I do and Katie only comes
over on the weekends. I try to get the young kitty to play but I have
learned that doesn't feel so good on my nose - so I am trying to convince
my Mom I need another full-time doggie playmate named Zoe.
Well, gotta go, I think Katie is at the door!
