We
adopted little Gordo from Paws n Claws humane society in Rochester,
Minnesota. His mom was a Shar-Pei, and it looks like dad was a Labrador,
so we tell people that he's a Sharpador. Now we live in downtown St.
Louis, so he's an urban pooch who loves to go for walks down on the Arch
grounds - as long as there are no horse-drawn carriages! He's a nervous
little fellow - he's afraid of horses, helicopters, loud noises, camera
phones, and hand lotion.
He's a smart boy - he'll bring his leash to you when it's time to go for a
walk, and show you where his kibble is stored if you ask him if he wants
breakfast! He has an extensive vocabulary - he knows sit, stay, down,
wait, leave it, fetch, and most importantly - breakfast and dinner!
As you can see, he thinks that the sofa is his. He's a sweet boy who loves
group hugs, playing tug of war, taking long walks with his mom, and coming
home for a little ice cube snack!
