Archie
was a rescue at the age of seven. He was found wandering the
streets of New York City. We traveled four hours to get him and it was the
best trip we ever made.
He has been a delight - bringing joy to us everyday. I can't imagine
anyone not wanting this little guy. He had been here almost a year before
we ever heard a peep out of him as far as a bark. Even now his bark is
more like a gurgle when he is excited to see his friends.
He likes to take walks and sleep. The highlight of his day and mine is
when I get home from work and he picks one of his toys to play catch and
tag with.
When we got him, the Vet told us that he was partially blind, that the
pigment in his eyes was very dark and when he looked at us it would be
like looking through very dark sun glasses. It hasn't stopped him although
he does bump into rocks and things at times.
We wouldn't trade him for the world.
