This
is Luci Lu, she is our sweet girl. We got her from our neighbors so
when she was only a month old I would bring her over to our house for a
hour or so then take her back to her mom. This way she could get used to
our house and our dog Rocco could get used to her. Then, when she was old
enough, we brought her home permanently. She is very loving and
affectionate - sometimes too affectionate. All you have to do is make eye
contact with her and she will be on your lap with her head pressed up
against yours. She has a older brother Rocco (English Bulldog) and a
younger sister Daisey (Dachshund). She likes to mother them, if they get
to playing around to rough she will try and break it up.
She loves to go to Nana and Pappy's house because it is just her (they
take turns going) and she gets all the attention to herself. She probably
listens the best out of all them, including our human children. If she
does do something she's not supposed to, she will look at you with her
head hanging and sad puppy eyes as if she is saying "I'm sorry, please
don't be mad at me." She also loves to go for walks, but she is the one
who takes us for a walk. She doesn't play fetch or tug-o-war, but she
knows how to sit, give paw and lay over to get tummy rubs. I like to dance
with her: I get her to jump up on me (when she is standing on two legs she
is a tall as I am) and we dance. I don't let her jump up on anyone else,
just me. She is a very special girl and I'm glad she is a part of our family.
