When
we went to go pick a Cavalier at the breeder, it was so hard, we
didn't know which one to pick, they were all so cute! Sonny was the one
that wouldn't leave our side and kept climbing up on me as if to say,
"take me to the big city!!" So of course, we did. As a puppy he was so
easy to train (okay, he chewed a part of the carpet one afternoon, but was
smart enough to do it in a corner so we could easily hide it!) Everyone in
our neighborhood knows him and loves him and more importantly, he knows
the doormen and store owners that give out free treats! He is a best
friend and our family. We couldn't imagine our life without him in it.
Sonny's favorite activities are chasing squirrels, taking long naps and
going to the beach. He also likes participating in the Halloween Howl
costume contest each year. He's been a tourist, a schoolboy and a cowboy
and took home a medal for second place one year. We're hoping this year
he'll snag first place!
