Charlie
is a long haired standard dachshund. Charlie definitely has a case of
the troublesome two's, he has tons of energy and loves to take it out on his
stuffed toys by ripping them to shreds. His favorite toy is Sponge Bob Square
Pants that talks to him. He loves his walks and can't wait to play in the
snowbanks. He also loves to find the largest tree branches he can find and
drag them to the deck to chew on.
Last year was his first Christmas and he loved the Christmas tree. He thought
that all the decorations on the tree were for him and he could pick them off
and chew them. He decided he wanted to open a present under the tree that
wasn't addressed to him before Christmas morning and through his wonderful
nose, he discovered the contents to be quite yummy. He loves to jump in
clothes baskets and has been also found to jump on a kitchen chair, then onto
the kitchen table where he found his container of treats and ate the whole
thing. When he likes to be quiet, he loves to lay in the sun and catch some
rays or loves to roll on his back and hope that we will give him a belly rub,
which of course we do.
We love him to pieces and he brings us so much love and joy.
