I
had always wanted a dog, especially a puppy so I pleaded for twelve
years until the day we went to look at Blue, he definitely stood out being
blue and all that night we made the purchase that would change our lives.
Blue was our family's first dog - or puppy - and boy was it challenging,
but rewarding. With patience and love we were given loyalty and a heart of gold.
That was almost two years ago and Blue has made himself a permanent member
of the family. He has timed our schedule very well and knows when his
"daddy" comes home from work and patiently waits at the door every night
cocking his head to the side at the slightest sound awaiting his arrival.
He dances around the coffee table at least four times at about 4:30
knowing its "doggy park time" then does an extra "warm-up lap" when he
sees you have the car keys.
Being as I am a horse person, Blue comes to the barn with me almost every
day and lounges at the all you can eat buffet (what you and I would call
the manure pile) and prances around head held high when he finds an old
rag. He's a great guy and almost always vibrating, the breeder didn't
mention anything about an off button or where the batteries were on him!
But I wouldn't trade him for the world.
