Nismo
is my best friend and we are inseparable. I found him four and a half
years ago while visiting my home town in California. I was on my way home
when I saw some old high school friends in front of the local market -
they were giving away puppies. Of course I had to stop and say hi, but
when I stared into the box I saw him. He was the only boy in the litter
and the fattest of them all. They were all solid white with little flecks
of brown on their ears. He was different - entirely - especially that patch
on his right eye. I picked him up and took him home with me. He slowly
started to develope his quirky freckles and his ears turned all brown. I
think he is one of the strangest marked dogs i've ever seen and people
stop me all the time to admire his spots, he's quite the odd ball at the
dog parks.
He loves the beach and I have taken him to many local beaches here on the
Oregon coast and some along central California. He's a water dog and is
absolutely fearless. I take him out just about daily - we go to random dog
parks, hikes, rivers, ponds, lakes.. etc. He is a wonderful stubborn guy
and I can only imagine what a grouchy old man he'll make. He's my baby
though, and even after all these years he follows me wherever I go - he's
always at my side - and I look forward to every wonderful year to come
with Nismo in my life.
