This
is my Golden Retriever Chessy. She is more lovable than any other dog I
have ever met. She lives with two other Golden Retrievers and two cats. Her
favorite hobbies include swimming, long walks, car rides, naps, and eating.
She loves to gives kisses to anyone who walks in the door. Chessy absolutely
loves to be the center of attention and is always looking to cheer you up if
you are feeling bad. She thinks she is a lap dog despite the fact that she is
110 pounds.
Chessy is scared of loud noises such as fireworks and thunderstorms and she
wiggles her way into our bathtub to feel safe. She has had hundreds of
stuffed animals and chew toys, but her all time favorite thing to play with is
a plastic pop bottle. Chessy's favorite room in the house is the kitchen
because she loves to wait for food to "accidently drop" to the floor for
her to enjoy.
We have had Chessy now for six years and we love her to death. This past year
she had an allergic reaction to something outside, during which she collapsed
during one of her daily walks. After taking her to the emergency vet, they
discover that she had an enlarged heart and we almost lost her. Thankfully she
survived and is now as healthy as can be. I couldn't even imagine live without
our 'Chesnut.'
